i've got a 72 jimmy and the rivits that are in the front shackles where it meets the frame are loose and making noise when i turn. i need to find a place in portland or close to portland that will remove the rivits and replace them with hardware. i'm not sure if it would be good to spot weld the shackles at the same time or not??? anyhelp would be great --thanks--

its not that hard to do yourself....grind the head of the rivits off and puch them out...get some bolts and you are set

You don't need an air tool. You should be able to rent a 4" angle grinder or just buy a cheapo harbor freight one for about $20.

or you could use a drill, drill the rivet head out and pount the rest out with a punch and a big hammer. Thats what I did when I did my shackle flip... you do have a drill right? If not, ya might try 4wpw on 82nd. Sure they could do it in a jiffy,
