A Few years ago, All the rage was to take a front clip off of a '89 to'91 Suburban or Blazer, and bolt it onto a '73-'87 Chevy truck.
It got to the point that folks were getting their grilles and stuff stolen.
Are these front clips still in demand?

Where I live they're still in demand, but there's lots to choose from now. Prices have dropped significantly. Seen a front clip the other day at pick 'n' pull ('89 burb, grill cracked a bit), and one in the classifieds for $250 including fenders and hood (good shape). Thats cheap compared to 2 years ago. This is just what I've noticed because my father in law was looking, things in your area might be totally different.

They should be in demand in my area. There are too many early chevs missing their grill all together.

There is one thing I have learned. Before tossing it, try to sell it. There is almost always a buyer for everything.
