ive got em...on my crappy sami axles...and they work. itll be a lot easier to change an axle without the backing plate and all the drum brake shit, and you will like it b/c you will break <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0"> but if youre talking toy axles, then i dont know shit. in that case, go with fattys approach <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">

I was thinking about running them on my sammi axles, As I have a great line on getting the spidertrax kit for really relly cheap from a guy that got two for his bday from a girlfriend and his parents..now thats love baby.. <IMG SRC="smilies/grinpimp.gif" border="0">

I built my rear dics my self and if you are going to do it go to a good machine shop and you will notice a differance stoping after a trip in the mud.

no problem. im running the spidertrax kit with the brakeline and ebrake kits. i would go for it.

Tusker: ever wheel in the mud? Ever notice your shoes don't last long? Ever notice how hard it is to stop after a water hole? Why do you think everyone goes to rear disc? because they like the look? The only reason I can think to switch to disk in the rear is for looks, as a matter of fact I'm working on a custom front conversion. I going to switch the disk set up in the front to drums so that I loose some of my stoping power. It should be trick I'll keep you up to date.

really though w/ all the highway driving and all the mud I see here in WA. Rear disks make for some added braking since i highway drive so muc.. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">..besides they look cool <IMG SRC="smilies/massey.gif" border="0">

Yes they do, disk in the rear that is. I just did a rear conversion on a 98' Tj and its nice, although it cost around $750 for the kit. Not to mention I had to charge some labor, But yes they do look cool. <IMG SRC="smilies/bender.gif" border="0">
