What is the most economical way to get very good (not incredible, just VERY GOOD) flex? Im starting from scratch so Im pretty much open to anything at this point. Any help is appreciated...

How about that? Yes I have! Call me sometime if your going wheelin...I go to UNT. My # there is 940-369-8273. I go wheelin with some guys in my Ranger club just about every week. They are definitely not vehicle biased as we have plenty of people wheel with us who drive non Ranger based vehicles. WE go out to Barnwell Mountain Rec. Area in Gilmer a lot, and do a little bit of goofin aroiund in the Colony. We should be checkin out this place in Alto, TX soon, we heard that there is some good wheelin out there. Give me a call sometime.

It depends on how much fabrication you want to do. I built my dads samurai with rear springs up front moved inboard 1.5"s per side, s/r, and stock shocks. the rear springs are moved inboard 3"s per side using scout II front mains.

For the most Economical flex, just doing a spring-over lift will make all the difference in the world. If you have access to a welder, it can be done for what many guys drink in beer in one week <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I have access to just about anything needed except a lot of money. Air tools, welder, pipe bender, just about everything.

you can do the spoa for under 100 bucks if you have some decent fab/welding skills. i will sell you a set of perches for 30 bucks and you can lower your stock brake line mounts for nothing. if you flip the spring plates from side to side and change your stock mounts on the rear it will work quite well. it is not the best set up, but by far the cheapest way to get some flex and fit a set of 31s no problem. i am located in the dfw area. if you want to find out more just give me a call at 817-819-0268 later mike
