TexasCruiser had this idea:

if you can bolt up a SM tranny to a W series bellhousing using the OTT adapter, why can't you use the w series bellhousing on the 7M and bolt the SM tranny up to the 7M using the same adapter? Dude, TexasCruiser is DA MAN. No more problems with tranny not being able to handle the power, or custom bellhousing.

No over drive would kinda suck. You'd just have 3 speeds in town. But it is an option, which is cool.

Drat, I was afraid of that. Well, mabye not a good idea for me, but better for those who take it a little more easy, but don't want to break the W series tranny.

I know that some people don't want to do this swap because of the tranny options. This could help solve some of that.

and if you order from OTT today you're lookin 11 week's out for your adapter :mad2:
