Got the 94 5 spd this morning and started tearing into it Found the first problem for no starting:mad3: somebody eliminated the ignition booster which is on the dizzy, they ran the wires directly to the coil:confused: from the dist. I took a new coil and I took parts I know are good ,coil ignition boosterand dizzy that are in my other 94 and switched them over I relaced the harness(with the 3 wires that share flex wrap with the ignition booster wires which then runs back to the coil) no dice pulled it all slapped it back on my working 94 FIRED RIGHT UP:confused: But zero spark in the other one did lots of searching already reset the crash sensor all relays good E.C.U maybe??? Thanks

The ETM has a very good section on troubleshooting the ignition system that can be done by just about anybody who knows the ohms from volts on their meter. IIRC, the same procedure is in the FSM under electrical.

I am on the hunt for a known good vacuum advance for you as well. I know where it was, now to find where it is!

Are you getting no spark at all from the coil?

Thanks pt got a haynes today I have a Bentley manual on the way thanks for looking for a dizzy for me The haynes gives all the specks so im going to start testing shortly brdelab no spark from 3 different known working coils I replaced Every thing past where the 2 Green-white and 1 blue white wire comes out of the larger harness. I dont know where those 3 wires run but im afraid the problem is back ther somewhere is the fuel ecu interlinked somehow? Thanks guys And pt I may have another parts rover for ya:grinpimp: cause im gonna burn this one

The ECU only receives input from the coil, not the other way around. Essentially, once you turn the key on, the coil is hot. When you get your Bentley manual, you'll be able to follow the process and it'll be fairly easy to see what's happening. I get hung up on following the sequence and miss things that should be obvious, but I'm following the factory sequence:flipoff2:

Don't burn it too badly, the price goes down depending upon how badly it's burned :D . I have one burned up parts truck... I'm trying to sell the one you have listed in the garage sale.

How about c4? then you can get to the salvageable parts easier...........Once i get another dizzy im stickin it on my present wheeler with the auto and ditching it. It runs well but no cats skitzy mfu makes it hard to sell so c4 sounds pretty good for anger management
