High milage questions

Ok so my dad has an 01 gmc HD 6.0 gas motor. He's put 100k miles on it. I'm wondering what are comon failures that start to appear in chevy's/gmc's past 100k miles? Looking to do preventative maintence. (besides the obvious...changing oil, ect) This is our work truck, when it gets retired it becomes my fullsized play rig :D so I want to keep it in running order. Thanks~

I would change the plugs and rad. fluid, as well as PCV valve. I would also take the TB off and clean it as well. Also change the fuel filter at least every 5000 miles. Gas is dirty!
