: AFI's lift is done!!!
PTSchram 01-09-2006, 04:50 PM Well, all except for the brake lines (long story, NOT my fault :flipoff2:).
It was advertised as a 5" lift, but it sure looks higher to me. Slider clearance is about 19 3/4", front bumper, 23 1/2", rear bumper at tow hitch, 24 3/4".
If I get the brake lines tomorrow, I'll post up some poseur parking lot wheeling pictures:flipoff2:
Peace,
PT
I'm sure it will settle with a few wheeling trips. Did you by chance measure the unsprung height of the 5" Rovertym springs?
PTSchram 01-09-2006, 04:58 PM Slider clearance...

They ran in the vicinity of 19". It was definitely easier to put them in with the radius arms disconnected in the front and trailing arms out in the rear.
All told, this was a really pretty easy lift with the exception of the rear A-rm bracket and the reservoir mounting. I'm not pleased with how they're mounted, but AFI and I are working on revisions.
I have some ideas for rear trailing arms... They should be finished by the next millenium.
