Okay, so I just swapped my manual steering for a toyota stock power steering system, and now my truck won't start. Here's what I know... the engine is getting gas, there is spark getting as far as the distributor but not to the spark plugs. I tried swapping the rotor and distributor cap and that didn't work. It's acting like I have the air flow sensor disconneccted, but it is hooked up. It turns over but just won't start. Any ideas? My best guess has been that it could be a problem with the air flow sensor, but I don't know how to check it. Is there a way to bypass the sensor? Or could it be something else?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I did pull the distributor cap, and I tried pulling it off and putting it back on, but it didn't work.

what he meant was did you actually pull the entire distributor... if you did you must have put it back in off time.
to time a toyota you must bring the #1 cyl to TDC on the compression stroke and point the distributor rotor straight up (vertical) and push it in... it will then rotate foreward as you push it in to the #1 position. it is easy to get it 180* out because you can't tell where the cam is without taking off the valve cover.
We only took the distributor cap off.
If we cranked the engine with the cap off would that effect it?

Okay, I'm going to state the obvious, but I'd look at things that you may have effected accidentally. Check the coil and all of the connectors over near where you were working. Perhaps you aren't getting the full spark to the plugs. Also, check your EFI fuse (assuming you have EFI).

We are getting no spark at all. All of the fuse's are good and the coil is getting power.
