Been there done that. Itll work put lots of weld in it. Weld the side gear to the carryer too.

Go for it, you'll want more gearing unless you have dual cases though.

dual cases by mid summer

will have to struggle with the gass pedal till then

i also have an auto which helps...

I ran 32's with 3.73's and a 100hp V6 for the longest time, worked ok...

I will be runnin 35's 4.10's and 180hp V6 with an auto, i think i'll be ok... then mid summer will come dual cases

I welded up a stock 4 cyl 3rd member. Its in my V8 powered Toyota. Has held up to my abuse fine so far. Its not a daily driver. It just gets abused.

I wasted 1 stock, open 3rd member. Have not destroyed a welded yet. Its alot easier to get sideways action if you want to :smokin:

4.10s... 35s... Auto.

If you ever want to get customized liscense plates, allow me to suggest "GLACIER" :flipoff2:

Seriously, sure about the 4.10s? Some autos had 4.30 or 4.56 IIRC?

That's what I've got. My welds broke at TDS, could've been the roll on Jack when the rear diff caught after a full 360. It's now Bender welded, no worries :D:D:D:D.
