FOUND A 71 TO 73(SO THE GUY SAID) FJ40 FOR 200.00..LOOKS LIKE A BIG RUST PILE...6 CYLINDER MOTOR(NO GOOD)...BUT HE SAID THE RUNNING GEAR IS OKAY..HAS 3 SPEED ON THE COLUMN...i'M KINDA IN THE DARK WITH FJ'S....I DEAL MORE IN TRUCKS...iS THIS THING WORTH BUYING AND PARTING OUT OR AM i WASTING MY TIME?:confused:

How bad is the rust? Surface or fj body cancer rust?
Exact year?
Stock set up?
If you feel like you're waisting time then pass it on to one of the desperate on here..

I would add...
What is your time worth an hour?
Trans is a boat anchor.. Front and rear complete axles are worth 50-100 each ( on a good day)
T-case might be worth a bit, but others would know better than me...

LOOKS LIKE BAD CANCER...DONT KNOW EXACT YEAR...i DONT THINK THE OLD MAN DID EITHER..iS THE FRONT AND REAR DRIVE LINE ABOUT THE SAME AS A 80'S MODEL TRUCK? IT DOESNT HAVE THE GRILL OR FRONT LIGHTS.
