To any mechanic,
I posted here earlier about my 74' bronco not starting . I think I
may have traced my problem to my neutral safety switch . The bronco in ? has a c-4 auto but I run a B & M star shifter . I removed all the stock linkage from the column but left the 4 wire
safety switch on the firewall . I have it set so I can start in any gear . I have checked the alternator , a one wire powermaster w/
internal regulator and it is ok . A new ignition switch , solenoid ,
ignition box and the battery is ok . I can turn the key to run and it
won't crank at all , but I can use a test light at the solenoid wire
and get power there . I am about to give up and haul to a mechanic if I can't get it going . Any help would be appreciated .
