Recently I bought a (just one) 35x12.50 SSR to replace one that had a bad sidewall cut. After only a few wheeling trips I noticed that huge tears were starting to form in front to the outside lugs on the tire. These tears are not the result of rock cuts, they're the result of the rubber pulling apart and failing. I have not had this sort of damage happen to the other three SSR's which have a bunch of trips on them. SO, why would a brand new SWAMPER have this sort of problem? Has anyone else had this sort of thing happen to them? If so, did you try to get your money back or get a replacement for the faulty tire?
Honestly, even an SSR should be able to take more than 3 moderate wheeling trips.
Thanks.
