I was wondering if anyone can tell me what tractors or combines the Charlyne valves that alot of people are running come off of, I've heard some say off Massy Fergusons, but what models, I'd be intersted in both non-load sensing and load sensing.

Thanks for any help,
Justin Ray

I know that a lot of fork lifts use orbital valves, when i do a hydro setup, that's where i'm gonna get mine:D Not sure about tractors or combines. You can pick up a beat Hyster fork lift around here for around $400, and take the steering setup (lines, valve, rams, all of it. If you wanna run hydro winch, the uuge pump wouldn't hurt things, either.

Call Wagner Machine shop, they will tailor it to the cylinder you are going to use and it is like $330. They also say that you get "road feel" and return to center too--this makes it street legal, in Iowa anyways.

Fork lifts and airport service eripment are great sources for pumps, valves and steering cyl. Also a lot of Combines have them, in fact I think almost all of them use hyro steering but I am not a expert.

Just FYI, In Illinois full hydro IS LEAGAL if it returns to center. I spoke to a vehicle inspection center about it the other day. Beadlocks are illegal in IL.

what do yall think about hydrolic assist vs. full hydrolic, I think I need something since the stock box isn't wanting to push the 42's all that easy.
