Bought a samurai need help

I bought a samurai the other day and when i got home i noticed one of the electrical plugs from the carb is not pluged up and when i plug it up it runs wide open. If any can tell me who to fix this would be a big help

If it ran better unplugged, then leave it un plugged.

Is it on the front carb, or the rear carb?


Also the left or right of whichever carb its on

It is on the left side if your standing in front of it there are two others beside it

Looking at it from the front of the vehicle it is on the left there are two more plugs next to it

which carb? Is it the Holley or the Rochester:confused: OMG COME ON GUYS I CAN'T HOLD THIS TEAM UP BY MYSELF

I guess it is a stock carb.

get a manual for 15 bucks, they explain everything. you have a Wide Open Throttle switch that may need slight adjusting. it may be shorted so that when it's plugged in, it thinks you got the pedal to the floor, so it dumps fuel or whatever. there is also a closed throttle idle switch or something that tell the computer when the pedal is not pressed. the book even tells you how to check them and everything.
