Just wondering if anyone has found places to get rockwells on the west coast. I can't seem to find anyone who has them and shipping them from back east doesn't make it worth it. Places and numbers would be appreciated. Thanks

hit your local junk yards. I've found quite a few lately. I've even found a couple 5 tons. or the local big truck recycler.

Have you looked in your backyard? Wheco in Pasco. I'll get a number for you tomorrow. I know they have two complete deuce and a half's sitting out front right now. Thier wharehouse in Big Pasco Idustrial Park, right down the road, is supposed to be full of those axles.

Well, the place here in Pasco is now a crane repair facility, I guess.

I know people have gone there for axle stuff. I just drove by the place on my way home from work and both of those 2 1/2 ton trucks are still sittin out front. I even see the occasional M-715 sittin out front too! But, when I went to www.wheco.com to find their phone number, it says it's a crane place? I don't get it...

Anyways, their phone numbers: 800-937-4772 509-544-0933
E-mail: info@wheco.com
And if you are ever in Pasco, 2110 E. Ainsworth, but they have another smaller shop up the road on Oregon Ave. The smaller shop is where I've seen the trucks at.

On the other hand, the shop on Ainsworth has had a few restored 2 1/2 ton trucks sittin out front. If they don't have any axles, I know damn well they know where to find them!
