I did a search and didn't find my specific question. I am asking for a friend who wheels a scrambler but is way behind on the computer thing!! He has a fresh 3.8 buick engine sitting around and a sick 4 banger in the cj-8. He has a t-5 and was wondering if there were any bellhousings to bolt the 3.8 to the t-5 that would be available in a junkyard. Thanks

the 1996 and newer camaros and firebirds have 3.8L and t-5. Maybe that bellhousing will work.

That's not the same engine, but it may use the same bellhousing. Worth a try anyway.

ya the series 2 3.8L has a shorter deck and some other mods. Internaly its basicly a 305 chevy with 2 cylinders missing.
