so i'm looking at what it will take to do a yj spring conversion, and since moneoy is tight, i'm hoping to make much of the brakcets myself. i came across this template on another board and had a quick question, whats teh need for two hole (A & B)? I can see that B hold teh leaf spring but am not sure about the perpose of A. also, any thips on making the shackels for a project like this?

B is through the old leaf spring mount hole.

A is where the eye of the YJ spring goes.

I made shackles out of 2x1/2" flat bar. I think the rears are 6.5" hole to hole. I shimmed the inside with some 1/8" or so stock to make it small enough to fit the Sami bushing. Here is a pic.

It this front or rear?

For a rear, it's wrong.

For a front, why hang it down so far if it's using that bolt?
