Ok...the dude before me ran the dual exhaust with headers...its well done...besides the ass end of the rig...it has the 23 gal tank...so he ran the exhaust right under the frame above the axle...well that resulted in crushing half of the exhaust pipe on very little flex....so my question is..whats the best way to route the exhaust. I want it to exit from behind the rear tire. I was thinking about running it over the top of the frame right behind the seat deck body mount on the frame....might be enough room to do it..but then there are some pretty wicked bends in the pipe..any ideas?

I like my setup, but it exits right before the pass rear tire. It runs from the manifolds (2" pipes) to a Y-pipe (3" out) to a Flowmaster 3 chamber muffler. The drivers side tucks up nicely and crosses right behind the oil pan. I have a 2" body lift and the exit pipe runs over the frame and dumps out right before the rear tire. I get no exhaust fumes in the cab and it is up and out of the way. Never have come close to hitting it while wheeling. I may be able to take pics if your interested.

I am running the stock 1 5/8 pipes into a 3" custom collector which flows into a 3 chamber flowmaster and 3" inch running down the passenger side, up and over the axle and dumps out to the passenger side facing down, right next to the 23 gal. rear tank. I have never hit the exhaust while wheeling and I get a great sound and good power from the stock 5.0 HO.:D

i'm running 2 ta 1 along pass side the mufflers right after the
t -case, fliped on it's side. i have a 2" body lift so i snake mine
through the frame right in front of the wh"s tank.
then straight out the back.
