Dunno about Massachusetts, but that wouldn't be a screaming deal here in CA. I bought a '94 with 93K miles, all the goodies including electric lockers, (Does that one have them?) third-row seats, etc. and in good shape for $16.5K last summer. OME 2.5" lift cost me $650 and I installed it myself.
This one is two years newer and has 14k miles less on the odometer, but $20k sounds a little high.
Try for $18k.

No it has no lockers. But it is under blue book. I was thinking of offering 18k like you said. I have not looked at it yet. Hopefully he will go down. Just trying to get peoples input.

The thing about the electric lockers is, sellers usually don't know they are there, so 80s get sold for about the same price with or without them. But think about what selectable lockers are worth. (i.e. an ARB set-up) You may never need them or use them on the 80, but if you buy an 80 without them and pay the going rate you miss out on the best option, IMO.
Not trying to sound dismissive, just telling you what went through my head when I was hunting for an 80. I was hell-bent to get the electric lockers as part of the deal. :)

If you are talking Kelley Blue Book as your under book reference. I'd say check out www.edmunds.com, they have much more accurate figures for what FZJ80s are selling for. I bought a '94 FZJ80 two days ago. Has lockers, no leather but most the other options (alarm/keyless entry, moonroof, etc), 112k miles, $14k. Edmunds shows this vehicle at $12.6k from a private party and $15.8k from a dealer. Edmunds also only lists options that were available on your rig, not a generic list of options like KBB. I'd say 19k is a bit high but not terrible. I would, however, bide your time and get one with lockers... it's worth it!
