HI I have several Toys of various years and conditions that I am trying to make into one(lots of parts for sale also). Here goes my question. I have an 82 2wd Toyota with an 1L diesel engine, it had a L52 5 speed tranny with a removable bellhousing on it. I am wondering if a stock 1984 5 speed tranny with a removable housing will bolt up to the diesel or if I swap bell housings would it. Both vehicle are Canadian if it makes a difference. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks TOY4X4

they should bolt up as toyota didnt change their bell housing until the 2.8, although im not to familar with the 1l
