is it possible to move the pinoin to the pass side of the axle? if so what needs to be done? iv looked around and found nothing.

but heres my idea
remove the portals, separate the axle tubes @the flanges, pull the third member, flip the housing, then reasemble. now i have not seen the axle in person so this is just from seeing pics on the net. if im wrong please let me know. im new to mogs and im ordering a set soon for my chevy, so any help would be nicely appreciated.

The very few flops that I have seen involved shortening one side and lengthening the other--the axle tubes ARE double wall. I considered having this done to better fit my Toyota but ended up just swapping the x-case instead--a much easier and inexpensive solution.

I went through the same problem on my current build. The easiest way for me was to just buy ford junk and put it in for a complete drive train.

We've done a fair number of swaps to the passenger side. The comments here are correct, you need at least one replacement axle shaft due to the locker design.
