The kit RRO sells is made by Shaffers Offroad. There are a couple of people on the bbs with this setup. Samit where are you??? Anyways I checked out Samits setup at SOR and was impressed, its a very well thought out and simple setup, I liked it a lot. Just dont buy it from RRO if you're in a hurry.

There is word of delivery problems w/ the Shaffer coil kits - it would be nice if we could clear the smoke about this & find out what's really going on there.....

I dont think I asked how long it took for them to get here, I asked how well they worked. Only one person gave me a some what resonable answer. so back to the question, how well does the suspension work?

Well, I'd be concerned with how long it would take to get the fawking thing. It doesn't matter one bit how well it works if it takes a frigging year to get it! :flipoff2:

I just want a strait answer, one like, yes they are good on the trail and make an excellent ride, or no they are no good dont get them. Thats not that hard to do. I t is quite a bit of my money to buy this kit so I want to know how well it performs before i buy it.
Oh yeah alfred, I think batman might be calling you to the bat cave, or mabey to wipe his A$$.:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Disaster, we put shaffers coil kit on my buddy's last year, extremely soft and flexy. It scored 1050 on a 30 degree ramp and will lift a tire about 42" or so. Its a pretty involved install. You can check it out on Izook. Its one of the featured rigs (Zukor). HTH

Last summer I called Mike Shaffer and ordered one of his coil kits. He told me it would be around two months and some extra $ to make a kit for toy axles. After waiting 4 months, I couldn't take it anymore. I decided to build my own. He told me that RRO had been giving him problems with the orders. I don't wanna start shit so I wont say what he really told me, but he did also tell me that the production time was hopefully going to improve because they were gonna start having teraflex make all the brackets. I don't know what ever came of this, but I will tell you that the kit is awesome and after building my own, I can also tell you the $ is right! It's a great deal if your up for the wait!

Actually, if you go back & read your own original post, you did not ask anything about how the kit performs - you only asked "what people have heard"....

Yea what burner said!!

A general comment like how does any one setup, or suspension perform,,,,, usually wont get a very elaborate answer anyway.

Alot depends on what or how you are going to use it. If you want an elaborate answer, take some time and type up a post and give them some information to go off of.

Ultimately, they dont HAVE to give you any advice.....
