far as i know they are non-directional, look on the sidewall to make sure. should say directional, non-directional or something to that effect.

All Hummer's come FROM THE FACTORY with 2 of the tires mounted with the Chevrons pointing forward, and two with them pointing backwards.

I have been told by AM General the reason they do this is to help confuse the enemy as to which direction the vehicle is going.

There you have it. :D

this is coming from a army mechanic (for what it is worth)they have 2 types of tires they use they use goodyears mt/s for the street and mild field duty and a non directional tire of what loks like a mud hawg and softer compound for general offroad.the goodyears are one size bigger and are directional (points down put them backward and they tend to vibrate at full speed)

I saw a real Marine Corps hummer once. They are not directional, and there are not markings on the military issue radials.

The tires have no directional markings on the sidewall and one of the tires isn't even a goodyear, it says "UNICURE" "HMMWV", and itsw the same tread and size and everything. Wayne, i did get them from the guy on Montana and they were $20, but i went a couple weeks ago cause i found some guys tht wanted them but i couldn't find any decent ones. the ones i have now have 90%-80% tread, so i think i got a pretty good deal for $80 total.
