TAP's a joke . i worked at one of the bigger Yard out in Rancho since about 92 and from day one there was only a select few yards out there my boss allowed me to buy parts from and especially TAP was not one of them due to there policy and there prices .. you would not believe HOW many customers i had come into the yard i worked at and would say ill never go back there again there rude and over priced or some other Horror story .. this is probably why they have very little walk in customers and depend on the Internet to do most there business which im sure is declining but hey there getting rich and thats all they care about ...anyone needs Parts heres a Wrecking yards sercret some of you might know about .... Thats a great resource. I think maybe TAP is getting the picture. They finally sent my F***ing $ back after enough bitchin' and information campaigning. They even sent back money for shippin' I paid. Wtf? :confused:

i also just had a bad experience with these guys what a bunch of F.A.H. he wanted 800 bucks for one head for my 97 3.4 plus 100 bucks for shipping. luckly i kept looking found a place that sent me one for 350 shipped.....what a joke.................

These fuck head's screwed me also. I bought an IFS box from them for a crossover setup. I get the box on and it's pouring fluid from a hairline crack. I take it back, and they told me it came off a truck that was smashed at driver front. Then they wouldn't give me another because they said I did it. $175.00 down the drain.

tap is a joke bought a tranny and motor from them motor blew up within the year i had it in my truck and i took care of that motor tranny is still ok but got screwed out of my mind buyin it they said it was a rebuilt but it was a used washed down with baby oil and water to make it look like it was nice and new so fuck them

i got out of the wrecking yard business 2 years ago .. i worked for american river auto wrecking next to pick n pull same parking lot . they got good deals there and tons of parts for everything not alot of toy parts but a few... i also worked at Bonanza in shingle springs for awhile .. i know alot of guys in the business .. Alan at All Japanese is cool good friend of mine he has a few things there too .. i can locate just about any part needed i swear lol .

back when i was IFS, I called TAP about some IFS manual hubs. they said $65 for the pair. I go down there, they ring me up, $130. I argued with the guys, then left and when to toyota auto mart down the street. $40 and I was good to go. Don't need any of that crap now, but I haven't been back to TAP since.

I bought a pair of Toyota hubs from the idiots on eBay. The picture clearly showed some nice hubs complete with bolts. The one that arrived were coated inside and out with dirt/mud and missing all of the bolts. In addition, several threads inside the hub were trashed.

About 10 years ago, before i ever heard of them... ordered an A/C changeover kit. They sent the wrong parts, had parts missing, had a bent condensor, the pump was frozen (WTF?), and so on. Called them. Tehy tried to jerk me off. Called the credit card company. The next day, a complete 2nd kit was on my doorstep, free shipping, and no need to return the other parts.

my friend needed a rear window latch and we went there and the guy at the counter said $30:eek: . We walked out the door and a tow truck was dropping off a wrecked truck with a broken back window and the latch was laying in the bed so my buddy snagged it:grinpimp:
