they had said something about making toyota rings on their site then it just dissapeard. i've heard on the zuk axle it just makes other things in the axle break first. i wonder if it could work with the toys?

i know a guy running 33 mtr's on his and he says they helped him. he has still broken a couple but not nearly as bad as before he installed the rings.

The rings Do help, but are far feom indestructable. Usually you will pop the inner part of the Birfield where the axle goes in first. Bitch to get that axle out w/ a ring on it, tho

more likely break the axle, I know somebody that runs these and he's had to pull the third to get the axle chunk out of the front, he's running 33s and a lock rite.

this has happened either twice or three times, I watched him dissasemble the entire axle the 1st time out on the trail, looked sucky. Defintately makes the birfeild stronger, dunno if thats a good thing all the time though.

We've got them on a couple of our Zuks. They definetely help, though you can still break an axle with any birfield protection.... if you thrash hard enough. The Spidertrax ones are nice since they don't require expensive machining to the outer knuckle to make them fit.

I ran them for a year and a half, went from 30-32-33" tires. I firmly believe they kept me from popping a birfield on the easy stuff. I didn't start twisting the axle splines up front until I went to the 33 x 15.50's. Then last weekend out on the Lost World I got a tire wedged under a ledge and busted the short side axle shaft - a winch would have saved me . So they work pretty good with the smaller tire sizes.

I had seen someone mention making them for the Toys. I've watched buddies break and change birf's like they were just stopping for lunch, don't want that to be me- so I wanted to see if these helped, now I can go and bug the spidertrax guys to get on it!!
