: 2001 chevy 1/2 ton rears??

a friend of a friend said i could have these now that he lifted his truck. anyone know the dimensions/flex? i dont get them til next week, tell me theyre the same as the infamous 63 inchers we all use???

unfortunatly they are not the same. They are shorter.

Don't rule them out just yet! my 63"s mesured 62 laying on the ground and I think someone just said on here in the last week or so, that those measure 61" maybe, remember stockers are 47" or so, and Mazda's are 52 or 54? and they flex like Mad too:) so if you get a spring that is fairly flat and over 51" try it out:D

Agreed on the try them out thing. BUT I remember a post where someone asked about these and someone posted that they sucked. Not positive but I heard this on here I thought...

sucks to be the gunnea pig huh? You are wanting someone to be like...HELL YEAH those damn things flex like mad! Well worth it!

Just think, maybe you can tell us that someday:D

Paul, why are you redoing your rear susp.? It seems to flex nicely with the AP's? Hell if they are free, at least pick them up and maybe compare them to the "old" style to see if they are the same number of leafs, thickness, etc.
