I've nothiced some tow hitches on sammy...:confused:
How much weight can a Sammy Tow?

Extremley short wheel base. Absolutely no power, and crappy brakes. I might tow a bike rack with a light ass bike. There are pics floating around of a guy that tows a sammi with another sammi, but he is just nuts.

I'm going to get a small trailer kinda like the Harbor Freight 4' X 4' one. Put larger tires on it and make it more like 3'W X 5'L box. and carry no more than 250lbs for camping gear with the gank. The sides will be tables and the 2 ends will be also for the camp kitchen. I usually cook for 25 - 40 people. This way I don't have to tow the Sammie full of stuff behinf the Exploder.

i tow a motorcycle trailer with mine, & used to tow a 15' jet boat that i no longer have. even with the 4.3 v6 & automatic, the boat was really too much for the chassis, but the bike trailer does fine.

With Toyota axles it would stop fine. Billjohn is correct, 1000 lbs safely:

So I can tow half of another sammy!:shaking:

I only asked because I have a Pop-up tent trailer...

Maybe I'll have to go weigh it...

My buddy tows his brute force 650 behind his with 31 inch tires. The motor is just sceeming help me.

I thought that was a draw bar. But your right, I later learned it was to smooth the trails for Heeps.:laughing:
