I'll be running 38'' TSL on my 74 CJ5, I'll also be running extended TJ flare in order to fit those 38'' in the wheel wells and trying to keep it kinda street legal. I still can't decide how much lift I'll be putting on, I'm making my own 3 links suspension. I was looking at 5 or 6 inchs of susp. lift and keeping my 1 inch body lift. I don't know how would that look since the TJ's flare are a little deeper. I'm looking for more down travel then up I beleive in order to keep the short wheel based CJ more stable when flexing. Anyone outhere with pictures and specs??? What do you guys think??

I think you should stretch it a little.Since you're gona link it,you should move your rear axle back a few inches,trim the body a little,and put some mud flaps on,since you're concerned about keeping it legal.
