In australia we have few choices of rear springs from out of the wrecking yards I am wondering what else other than chevys or wagoners work well in a 4 Runner?

Ford Explorers?
Toy IFS rears?

Only want to get 2-3in of lift

Having them fit in stock location with an extended shackle would be good as well

I am about to move my rear springs to the front and run a dropped / adjustable drag link for now

I was thinking about getting custom springs made to chevy spec's. About $300.

Nissan Patrol MQ springs are 56" long ??

if your going to get chevys made just go down and get ford au ute springs. they are 61 of memory but have an extra 2 inch on the front side.

CDR is that 300 per spring or the pair?

king springs will make them same eyes and width as toyota and same lenght and rate as chevys, cheap aswell.

Do you have a price from king springs ???

look for long springs from something spring under, like a station wagon even, just remove springs untill it's soft enough. reason to use mazdas, longer then stock toy and flatter and spring under, same with the chevys. use this consept and let us all know how it turns out:D

mazadas are easy to come by, also have a look at the VG chrysler as the springs are long and flat, they have mega lenght on the front side of the spring which is what you want, im sure a redkneck well have a set cheap.
