The tires should still go on the beadlock rim, however the bead protector (the thick lip on the tire) can have an effect on how well a particular tire works with a particular wheel. You can always just trim the bead protector off.

I'd think they'd be fine. Isn't that one of the popular setups for the desert racers?

and how does that pertain to me wondering if the the thicker safety lip is going to be a problem?

just wondering, do you search threads to type worthless posts?

its going on my toyota truggy with a hp44 and chromos and 31 spline 9 locked f/r and a 400,c6,np205...yeah its just for looks:rolleyes:

thanks for the input that mattered from the others, i was just worried that it might not seal up...but after reading, if anything the bead lip won't be damaged like some beadlocks do to the beads of tires.

I'm not gonna hate on your tire choice as it is your choice, but I am also curious why someone from Alabama would run them on their rig. I'd imagine you guys see quite a bit of mud down there. But, if they work for you - go for it!

The AT's and MT's share the same carcas. Ring fits just fine inside that bead protector thingy. People have been running BFG's on locks for decades now in the desert.
