minitruck disks. check the search function, though I noticed its not available for non logged in users... hmmm.
Anyway, ih8mud.com has some links for how its done. I would deffinitely not spend money on the other kits since they are more expensive and you dont get the benefits of the minitruck swap.

there are a few different ways of doing it but the mini swap is the cheapest.

just buy something like this:

or do some shopping around, you should be able to find one cheaper and you're set. now do a search.

mini knuckles all the way out with 81 fj-40 rotors and ifs mini calipers. grab the lines with the backing plates too, and cut the ends off the hardlines and save the fittings. good idea to buy a knuckle service kit with wheelbearings from marlin or other when you fo it too. grab a bottle of brake fluid, plenty of brake parts cleaner, rags and a bucket of wheel bearing grease. the calipers are 75 for a loaded pair if you have cores to give them at auto zone. import rotors are 23 bucks each at napa. and the knuckles out can be found cheap by any mini driver that bought a complete for the birfs and shafts. there is a 69 that I just built, wardens did the disk brakes on it, but with non vented and straight axle mini calipers.

As mentioned the mini-disc is a great way to go, but don't forget to address the steering arm issue on the swap. The mini-truck arms use a larger tie rod end taper and and the original cruiser arms have a smaller bolt pattern...
