:) Helo all.
I use a mix as a rifle bore cleaner called Ed's Red... It consists of equal parts of these:
Dextron III ATF
Mineral Spirits
Acetone
Kerosene
It works great! you can even add a little melted Lanolin as a protectant for parts that will sit for a while.
Anyone use this on Auto parts? Should work killer in a parts washer, and it's not terribly expensive. Thought someone here might want to give it a try.

All those substances you listed would not work well near any spark, and when combined together...:nuke:

Can't remember the brand name but I get it from the local farm store. Comes in 1 gallon containers which you can mix with water up to 1:5 ratio. I keep it at 1:3 and works great. Non-flammable, bio-degradeable and works really good if you have a heated element in your washer.

and when combined together...:nuke:Huh... All that shit was combined for millions of years in the crude oil reserve... I tend to think it's safe :flipoff2:
The danger level is going to depend mainly on how much acetone you add.
