You guys with spools where the rig sees one or two days a week of road use, have you experienced a chronic problem with the axle shafts twisting on you?
Thanks

I had a spool in my old 'runner. drove it everyday for 8 months, no problems. My current truck is welded and has also had no problems:D

I had a welded rear in my 4runner, and had no problems. Drove it to the trails and back every time. Even drove it around town and to work, and the liquor store, and the lumber yard...You get the picture. :D

hey-

sounds like your having problems?

I average 40 to 50 miles a day on mine on the daily commute-
no problems so far! never goin' back to a Detroit :) the spool is much easier to live with.

I run 35" BFG's at 42 psi to help eliminate the squallin' and buckin' on slow corners. I also try to carry enough speed into a parking space to complete the turn w/ the clutch in, it seems to help out some too.

Nope, but I've burned through two sets of gears and 2 spools. Hoping the 9" and strange spool will solve those problems and I get disc brakes out of it!!!!!

I average 60-70 miles a day easily on my daily driver 4Runner (except this week, down for SAS :D ) I'm spooled in the rear with factory Yota 4.88 gears, 35s and stock axles. No problems yet. After I save up enough to get Longfields, I'm thinking about spooling the front too :D :p
