I got my switch and wirng harness, but I have no directions. Most of it is obvious EXCEPT for the wires that connect to the back of the switch. the switch pins are numbered. HTF do I know where the wires go??

Step 1: Touch various pairs of contacts to the battery, until you smoke the ARB switch

Step 2: Buy $1.59 switch from Autozone, wire it up. :)

At least, that's what I did...

call arb they will send you a new diagram
or if you have a cordless phone
and are prepared they will walk you thrue it.

but a better question would be
how can I wire my ARB with out useing the
funky relays that seem to go out all to often
or has any one used manual valves instead of
the electric ones.

ps ARB has great customer service
they have overnight express mailed
parts to me,,,

I did't use any relays at all. Didnt even use their compressor. Have it directly to my on-board air tank - a/c compressor.

Bones excellent, I'll have to get my fax outta the garage and hook it up. I"ll shoot you an email w/ numbers .

woody, yeah I have mine hooked to my York. relays are irregardless to the situation.

I didn't use the harness or the ARB compressor or the ARB switches, but here's the install pages.

1 more question.

I connected "switch 1" as diagramed. connected the blue/wht to + and connected the yellow and black to the selenoid. I flipped the switch expecting the blue light but no.

does the harness use a single ground for all switches etc?
I did not connect the compressor gnd. Let me explain.

I am using 1 arb for the front and not using ARB compressor but rather my york. So I'm not using any of the other connectors on the harness, just switch 1 and selenoid.

would then the main red and relay need to be connected as well?

I connected the main grnd, now the switch has a blue light.
but the ARB light does not come on, (I'm assuming it has a light) cus the light that is on stays on regardless of switch position.
I'm going to pull the dash and dbl check the wiring.

i wired mine into the ignition so when the key is turned the light is always on and as I recall it may get brighter when you flip the switch to on. hope that helps

ahh ok it looks like there are 2 lights maybe?
one under the "locker" and one small strip below. my small strip just stays on and the "locker" never lights. does that sound right?

I sure hate to pull my dash again just to dbl check.
