has anyone converted one of these rearends over to use a 9/16's wheel stud?

I have one that I am going to be converting to discs, for my DD. However, I don't want to run 1/2 studs out back, and 9/16's up front.
I figure if I need to get new studs for the discs anyways, I might as well convert it.

i would find hubs that were already 9/16" if such an animal existed. Otherwise, take your hubs off, and using whichever means available to get a straight hole, drill the holes out to accept the larger studs (interference fit) You might need to machine/grind the heads of the studs to fit into the hubs.

Jrod, I used 78 GM 3/4 ton front axle studs when I built one up. I was using the rotors and calipers off that D44 for my disc conversion anyhow, so it was pretty easy to find em.
