Do i need to change the big o ring on the pump where the resevoir goes if i took the resevoir off? If so does anyone know or have a part # of where i can get one for a chevy pump? It is a pump from a 1982 truck.

I don't replace o-rings unless they look messed up, or they are very hard to get to.

Sweet, thats what i wanted to hear.

if you ever wanted one just tell auto parts store you want a rebuild kit. i got one for my pump from a j10 for 10 bucks and it had the big O ring.

Called pep boys earlier and they said they don't carry them.

he said call a parts store... I don't think Pep Boys qualifies... :beer:
