i have the celica box and pitman arm. it looks a little wimpy... when compared to my stock arm. also there is a rod end deal pressed? into it. do i just have that pressed out and machined to fit my rod end? are there other pitman arms that work with this box? im using fj80 ends.

Poppy-There are several different styles of pitman are that come with that box. Some are really skinny looking, some are pretty beefy. Get the beefy one and then press out the balljoint. Then you have to machine a lug with a bore for your TRE or heim. Then weld it into the pitman. I'm not sure if the IFS box pitman will fit, but if it did, they sell those already modified.

i used a trailmaster sami drop arm, but machined out the sami spline and pressed in/welded a toy spline cut from a toy arm. for the other end,i drilled out the hole for a bolt/heim joint drag link.

Poppy-I had the pitman off so I took some pics of the one I'm running. Its off a celica, I had my co-worker Brad fab and weld in the 3/4X16 threaded lug. If your gonna weld any steering stuff, have someone that REALLY knows (as in certified) what they are doing.

My pressed in "bushing" popped out on the trail, leaving me scrambling for a quick trail side repair, which sucked badly. If you don't weld it in, take along an extra 7/16 fender washer for when she comes apart.
