I came across 2 mid 80's chevy Dana 60's with the flat top knuckles. They are bone stock and have been sitting for a few years. What are they worth in their current condition and if I freshened them up.

600-800 a piece depending on condition if they are stock

I can say for sure that one of them is not kingpen, I didnt look at either too closely since i was freezing my ass off and supposed to be at work. I gotta head that way tomorrow so Ill probably take another look.

all chevy D60's were kingpin, so yeah...

Flat top dana 60??? I'm with Old Scout on this one, sounds like D44's. Perhaps the cold weather was affecting you vision and ability to make an edumcated guess :flipoff2:

I went back today to take a good look at the pile of axles. knocked some snow off and did some measuring......44's :barf: :barf: Oh well, someday Ill find a pile of 60's...

Yup, keep looking... I bought a front D44, front 60 & a rear D70 all for $240 :D
