heres the deal got a 57 chevy stepside on 70s chassis 40 inch boggers 12 inch lift . i would like to put dyi's new brackets on the front with the rear springs to get a much needed better ride and articulation (the 12 inch springs suck ass for so many reasons ) anyway has anybody else here done it ? how much lift did it net? i would like to keep the truck at the same hight but actually have movment from my front springs i just saw the brackets about 5 minutes ago :)

generally, stock rear springs in front add 4-5" of lift. so you would need about 8" rears to get 12" in front. it could be a little off, go over to coloradok5.com and ask.
