heres the deal. a buddy of mine has a 79 bronco and recently purchased a somewhat "abused" 81 for a couple hundred bucks. At first he told me "Yup, ima gonna swap in that split front axle, gawd dammit." (texas accent).

well, even though i am a GM man all the way, i do know that the 81 TTB shiat and 8.8(?) rear end are not nearly as good as his rr44 and 9". anyways, he agreed, but asked me if the 4" lift on it would bolt up to his 79. i didnt have a clue, and dont have enough exp. with fords to know all the "it will work, but you gotta do this." or the "yup, go to napa, buy part #7697693765362-31252309623\];6, for 39 cents and your good to go."

so, will it work or not??

will the body lift fit as well??
