Im about to setup the rear suspension on my TJ. Ive already done the front and stretched it out around 7-8 inches. Im thinking about an overall wheelbase of 108" running 42's and full widths (with 5 inches of Backspacing)I will be doing most of my wheeling on the east coast. Just wondering what most were running on wheelbase and what your thoughts are on running 108"

i ran 103" for a long time..... now going a little longer to around 110" on 40's

most of the trucks i set up are in the 108-112 range for east coast.

there are a lot of factors that come into it....type of trails, tire size, belly height, ride height, yada yada.

Mine is at 112" on 42" tires. I think I am going to around 115" when I link the back.

Thats what I wanted to here.......some of the "shorter" guys out here say that its too long.....but i think 108-110" is about right with 42's. You guys have definately pushed me towards the 110 mark if not a little more, cause since my fronts pushed out so far im almost running a 90 degree approach angle. Might as well do the same to the rear:D

depends on WHERE you will be wheeling...a lot of EC trails have trees to manuever around...

But most of the OHV parks are pretty open terrain...you shouldn't have a problem with what you are running

Shit, I had 113 on my Comanche with 35's. It was great. I used my bed as a pivot point for the tight stuff. You can't beat 110+ for the steep hill climbs when you have to be on the throttle hard.
