How do the Dana 35s compare in strength to the stock Samurai axles? Will the 30/35 combo from a 2001 TJ fit under a Sami?
Just thinking if they are somewhat stronger and would fit we could buy 44s for the TJ and put the left-overs in the Zuk.
I know we break axle shafts in the TJ all the time but I am guessing they would fare a little better in the lighter Sami if they woulld fit.

I haven't looked into it much, just thinking of possibilities. If it would work... upgrading 2 rigs for the price of one would help a ton. If the axles aren't any stronger or won't fit then we have to choose which rig to throw the $$$ at.

i have an idea crawl under the vehicle and look for yourself at first you will notice that a suzuki is passenger side drop front and rear axle... a tj is drivers side drop and centered rear... so what your looking at is the rear axle will work and the front wont.... i personally think the 35 is a step up from a zuk axle but im not sure what others will say..

Thanks for the quick feedback. I wasn't trying to be lazy, the TJ is my brothers and he lives a couple miles away. Maybe I should have looked under both of them before I asked anything but even if the front wont work I still want peoples opinions on the strength of the Dana 35 vs the stock Zuk rear axle. Would it be enough of a upgrade to be worth the effort of doing the swap?

if you want to swap - find something more worthwhile
