I just put back on stock length shackles on the front and now the shackle bolt on the spring is in front of the one on the frame putting it at a 30- degree angle and about 1.5 in from the frame.
This doesn't look right, the springs are 42in eye to eye(skyjacker softrides). Is this going to be allright to run like this? Any help please- thanks

yeah those springs sond messed up! Stock length is about 46" I would try and run some longer shackles and see if the springs settle but I don't think they will settle enough to give a good shackle angle or good ride for that matter.

Take your spring out of the shackle. Twist your shackle all the way back until it hits the frame. Measure the distance from the center eye of the front of the spring hanger to the center of the spring mounting hole on the shackle. This will give you the max possible length of the spring. If this distance is less then the overall length of the spring, spring damage will occur. A longer shackle would cure some of the problem. Good luck.

Thanks for the info, guess I'll put back the longer shackles. Next time I'll pick up some better springs
