: 8 lug conversion

if i want to do an 8 lug conversion on my 79 F150 HP 44, what all would i need? i have heard the axle lengths are different, but im not sure if it would make a difference. any input is much appreciated.

everything thing from the knuckles out off a solid dana 44 hd.

The different shaft length thing is only for the inners, and pre78 F-250 stubs. 78-79 F250's use the same length stub as the F-150 so, if you get the outers from a 78-79 F-250, you can run your current shafts...

All you need are the knuckles, spindles, hubs, and caliper brackets......chances are the rotors will need replaced (or at least turned), and the calipers have long since given up the fight
