I had a set of hercules terratrac on my CTD about 5 yrs ago- the tread pattern was a little different though- more like a bfg in a way. I wasn't overly impressed with them at the time, but looking back, they were a decent set of tires, better than the Michelins that succeeded them. IIRC I got about 35k miles before I thought they might be too worn for a long distance trip(6k+ miles), so I got new tires and gave the hercules to a friend. He ran them on his truck another 10-15k miles, at least. :eek: I think they were almost drag slicks when he was done... Overall a decent tire I suppose. I would consider buying them again, but the new tread pattern looks a little wimpier... For my everyday use, I need a slightly more aggressive tread.
