Finished installing the 3-link on my '95 RRC last night and mid install I ran into a hickup that neither Greg had prepared me for or was mentioned in the instructions.
The front radius arm bolt hole on the axle had a 1" thick spacer of some sort on the outside mount, which is where the outer plate bolts too. This created a problem with the rest of the kit as it was not designed around a truck with these spacers. Had to saw-zall them off which really was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
Just in case any '95 RRC owners plan to install a 3-link.

probably something to do with EAS
Maybe something to do with the way the 95's mount the shocks?

Both sides or just one? Both bolts?

How would the shocks fit at the radius arm bolt holes?

i kinda thought they were to keep the shock bolts and arm bolts away from each other, also
its on both sides
it makes since why they were there, and not worried about taking them off but just surprised and glad i was able to borrow a sawzall, it was getting late and all my tools were at my project site. sawzall was not listed on the tools required!

I do have the RRC front and the 110 Sals front in the garage and went out to look before asking. Just can't "see" how the shock would mount there. Thought the shocks mounted behind the axle.
Pete
edit: I mean the front of the axle. :shaking:

Air suspended Classics have the sock in front of the axle. P38s have the shock behind the axle.
