Hey Ford dudes! I just bought a used Ryder truck that has a 1994 460 w/ OD auto tranny. I was hoping to put a tranny temp gauge on and I'm unsure if there is a port for that or if I'll need to put it in the pan. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ditto.

This is the most common place to put the sensor in the e4od it gives you the hottest temp that the trans will see since it's the pressure test port immediately after leaving the t/c.

thanks....about where? I looked for a while today and couldn't find anything that my autometer would thread into.
I was thinking about droppin the pan and welding a bung into it.
