I did a double take there for a second. First thought :rasta: A solar welder that uses the sun. How would that work? Not too Goood!
The one that Century makes? A few more details on what you are looking at... 110V/230V? I don't think they have made the solar brand in awhile is it an older welder?

its a 110
the guy said he bought it off of the dealership he used to work at
i am just begining to learn how to weld and would use it for small projects nothing big
i got him down to 150 for it so i am probably going to get it but still would like to know if anyone has had one or experience with them
here is the one in question...

and he said this...
It has the gas regulator attached and ready to go. its on the back of the unit with gas tank platform.

Looks like a pretty good set up, price is good also. I like the infinite adjustable heat (amps) and wire speed and a spot weld timer, that will be nice for sheetmetal work. Most cheapy 110V migs only have 4 heat settings so it's hard to get exactly what you need. The only problem you might have is getting consumables (tips, etc) Ask the guy seling where he gets his...hopefully it's somewhere close by.
Get a tank of CO2/Argon and you'll be set. most 110V MIGs are good for about 95-135 amps MAX and will usually weld up 3/16" It will be good for sheetmetal/body work/ light fabrication. If you are planning on heavier fabrication you'll want a 220V welder with more amps.
