Caltow's right, start by spelling the name correct and then find a Zuk that has fuel injection.

What year did they begin to offer fuel injection ?
Also, why is the 88.5 more desireable than
the 89?

Just curious.

i was told that the 85 was the best to get in good condition because they had the different gears and the axels are 3 inches shorter and stronger.
when you go out looking just make sure you check under the carpet on the seams, and in the rear around the ends of it
it seems they are always rusty

Your looking for a 90 or newer because of the fuel injection. No fussing with a stalling carb on off-camber and steep hills. But to add a locker to the front you will need a three pin diff from the front 88.5 or older. The 90+ only has a two pin which can be made to work with a locker, but is not as strong.
Also, the pre 88.5 had a higher 5th gear in the tranny. Later, after getting T-case gears you'll want to hunt one of these down to bring down the rpm's from the gearing.

so i want any sammi 90 or later, no matter what options, an look for a 88 or older front axel so that i can add a locker down the road...i saw a 86 for 1200 but i was too straight and the owner was charging accordingly =o) so the hunt continues....
